Ethan and Isabeli

Sick baby

Isabeli has been sick for a few days now, and today she woke up all full of little dots all over. My dad thinks she has Rubeolla. The fever is finally gone, and she is starting to act more like herself. So there is nothing to worry about! She should be totally well very soon.

To top that off, her top tooth is breaking through. Poor baby! As I mentioned here before she is not as calm as Ethan was when things bother her. She will let us know...and everyone who live in this street too...hehe :)

Everything else is great! Having a great time! Ethan keeps saying " I love it here". hehe He loves watching the animals and had a blast when found this little bug. I was telling him I used to love them when I was a kid. I liked searching for them with my sisters. They are cute. We call them here "soldadinho" (little soldier).

My birthday is next week...tuesday and John´s is friday! Sucks we won´t be together...but we will celebrate when he comes down here. I can´t wait to see my baby! :) The best present life has ever given me...:)

Isabeli is already working on this picture above...my perfect little model! Isn´t she great?! That´s for a designer we are working with...and no one better to model those darling outfits than my baby. She seems to know exactly what I need on every shot! :)

Brazil x Argentina

It was the best I´ve seen the Brazilian soccer team play! What a game!!!! 3x0 final score! :) We are the American cup winners of 2007!! We all hope to see Ethan as a soccer player in the future... He has a real passion for the game. I think it´s in the blood! :)

We went out to lunch today. We only missed Amelia and John here! But very, very soon we will be all together. :) Amelia is now scheduled to stay from august 2nd to august 25th. It will be great to have her here a little longer! And John arrives august 11th, just in time for father´s day! Brazilian father´s day is august 12th. :) We are all very excited! :)

Ah...We have skype and whenever I am online you (from california) can make a local call to me by dialing          805 426 9506       . :)

Please don´t be shy to leave us messages when you check the blog. I have received some e-mails from dear friends in cali and I wanted to say I miss you guys too and wish we were there this summer too... but we will be home in no time to enjoy a little bit of the warmth you have been experiencing lately! It is rainy here...:( Have not been to the beach at all...only sight seen with my dad and Ethan. Ethan has been with my sister´s boyfriend and he loves it. He never wants to leave there!

Isabeli has been spending a lot of time with my mom, who takes care of her most of the time. I am trying to quit nursing and it has been tough, but hopefully it´ll all be better soon. But for now I am in a lot of pain! :(

It was such a pretty day yesterday and I was stuck in the house since everyone had stuff to do... :( So, I decided to take some pictures of the kids... whatelse? lol

There were so many I loved, I just couldn´t decide which to post so I posted about half my favorites here...

Got his hair cut yesterday and it´s a little too short, but my kids´hair and nails grow so fast here... it will be fine ina a week or so. :)

Some pictures of the kids enjoying 4th of july together! They are such great friends! I really hope they stay like this...melts my heart to watch!

I do feel bad when I post only pictures of missy. But Ethan had his MANY years to shine, so now it´s her turn! I am so tired of proofing that I didn´t do anything to thses ones. I am going to take a nap as soon as I am done posting. Belinha´s top tooth is about to break through(one of the bottom ones finally arrived last friday) and she is oh! so cranky!

Just wanted to post these shots taken by my sister (who loves photography just like me...if not more!). She carries her point and shoot EVERYWHERE and thanks to her I always have pictures to post. I really need a good little point and shoot. Would love to get one of those skiny 7.2 megapixels ones... There is even a PINK one! Imagine that!!! lol

These photos where taken at a friends house. We went over there for a barbecue at night and the kids had a blast. Ethan is not in the pictures because he was way too busy playing soccer (in the dark) with the guys!

Isabeli´s first BMW...LOL! As you can see by the broken light, she is not a good driver! But look at the attitude!!!

This is my sister Fernanda (for those of you who don´t know!) and her husband´s niece, Maria Clara, who is only 2 months older than Isabeli, but look how huge she is!

These next ones are just some I found that are very sweet. Belinha and my dad...she had just woken up from a nap and my dad was talking to her...

We were having a barbecue (another!) at a friend´s house (another friend! lol), and since there was no crib there, we brought a mattress outside so we could keep an eye on her. We are extremelly laid back here. We love improvising!

The next day we went to this one part of the city where they close off one section of the road for bike riders, skaters, joggers. There is music, food... It´s a lot of fun! Happens every sunday. Ethan had a great time!

Happy 4th of july!

I promise some colorful photos tomorrow to celebrate it better! But today I have to post these cute ones of my sweety and my prince! She is a character...lol
