Cidade de Deus/ City of God!

Oi Gente...ontem eu e John assistimos ao filme CIDADE DE DEUS(filme Brasileiro dirigido por Fernando Meirelles). Fiquei chocada com as cenas fortissimas de violencia, principalmente pelas maos de criancas... Um filme forte, que conta como o crime organizado se instalou nas favelas do Rio de Janeiro. A estoria e baseada em fatos reais. John achou tudo muito bem feito...se bem que eu duvido ele querer passar nem perto do Rio de hj em diante. Realmente foi um filme que mereceu todas as nominacoes e premios que recebeu...apesar de eu detestar violencia( o que foi visto explicitamente nesse filme). Vcs tb assistiram? o que acharam? beijao



Hi...Yesterday John and I watched the so talked about CITY OF GOD.(Brazilian movie directed by Fernando Meirelles) I was absolutelly chocked by all the violence, especially from the hands of little kids... An extremelly powerflu movie that shows the growth of the organized crime in this Rio de Janeiro's suburb, between the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 80's. The story is based on real facts. This is a movie that truly deserves all the nominations and awards received(even though I despise violence!) Have you guys seen it? What did you think of it?
