Rio+ Paris Hotels

Esse domingo passado nos fomos passear um pouco com Ethan. Visistamos os hoteis Rio e Paris. O Rio e legal, mas nao tinha muito o que se ve. Ha sim um show que acontece a partir das 3 horas da tarde e depois a cada hora. Mas a gente teria que esperar muito tempo...ai resolvemos que voltariamos outro dia p/ assistir. E muito legal la...o nome dos bares e restaurantes chamam :Copacabana Pool Bar, ou Ipanema Caffe... e varios outros nesse estilo...muito engracado! A piscina e muito legal...alias...as piscinas! Notem que em algumas areas ha areia...como se fosse uma praia mesmo! Tava um calor de matar do lado de fora...entao nao ficamos muito por la...so o suficiente p/ tirar umas fotos. Do hotel Rio fomos visitar tb o hotel Paris...coisa mais linda meu Deus!!!!!! Amei...definitivamente um dos meus preferidos...tudo tao bem feito. A torre Eiffel e de uma altura equivalente a 50 andares...tem que pagar p/ ir la...estavamos sem coragem...muito alto...altura nao e meus pontos mais fortes...hehe As fotos ficaram muito legais ne? Viram os detalhes? poderia passar o resto do dia la...so observando aquela perfeicao...Lindo! nota 10!


Last sunday we decided to visit some more hotels. We saw Rio and Paris Hotels. Rio was alright , but there isn't a whole lot to do there. There is a show that happens at 3pm and every hour after, that but we would have to wait too long, so we decided to come back another day to watch it. I loved the way they named the stuff there :Copacabana Pool bar or Ipanema Caffe... and so many others. Interesting! The pool area is very cool actually. There are many of them and one where they have sand on the floor...like a beach. It was so f...hot out there!!!! We didn't stay long outside, only enough time to get some pictures taken. From Rio Hotel we went to see Paris... Oh my God! Everything is so beautiful there. I loved it!!! Definately one of my favorites so far, it's all so perfect! The Eiffel tower is about 50 stories high...of course we have to pay to get up there...but it was ok...not very big fan of height anyways..hehe The pictures turned out very nice. Did you look at the details? I could have spent the rest of the day there...only to observe all that perfection. A+++ for Paris Hotel!!!

Malibu

Ontem fomos p/ Malibu!!! Foi tao legal...nos divertimos muito. Eu, Ethan, Jennifer, Lesley, Julia e Cynthia. A praia estava lotada de gente...o que me espantou um pouco pois era terca-feira! Chegamos por volta de meio dia e ficamos por umas 2 horas. O sol estava quente e o dia lindo! Mas a brisa fria do mar nao deixava que ficasse insuportavel...estava "actually" bastante agradavel. Qdo estavamos saindo, notamos que as sirenes dos carros do salva-vidas(que estao por toda parte!) comecaram a tocar e um amontoado de gente se formou numa area da praia...tinha alguem se afogando! Eles sao rapidos..logo tinha ate barco dos salva vidas por la. Depois da praia fomos p/ cidade de malibu achar algo p/ comer...estavamos famintos. Voltaremos la...praia e comigo mesmo!:)


Yesterday we went to Malibu!!! It was great...we had a blast! It was me, Ethan, Jennifer, Lesley, Julia and Cynthia. The beach was full of people, which got me thinking...don't people work around here? It was a tuesday for god's sakes!! We got there around noon and stayed for about 2 hours. The sun was very hot and the day was amazingly beautiful and we had such nice breeze coming from the ocean that made everything just perfect. When we were leaving we noticed the sirens coming from the lifeguards trucks and realized that someone was drowning. There were lots of people on the shore watching and lifeguards everywhere...there was even a lifeguard boat around...gosh...can't believe how fast they are! From the beach we went to the city to get something to eat. We were starving!

Julia is here!!/ Julia esta aqui!

Julia veio passar a semana aqui com a gente. Estamos saindo a beca e tirando algumas fotos...Ethan esta amando te-la por perto. Nos tb!!Ela e uma menina muito boa, gentil e educada...brinca muito com ele e nao preciso dizer que ele fica super feliz com isso, ne? A levamos p/ ver o strip, onde estao os hoteis, visitamos o mundo do M&M, mundo da Coca-Cola, alguns hoteis e ate que o calor nao ta tao insuportavel nos ultimos dias. Coloquei algumas fotos em "Vegas with Julia" p/ vc poderem ver...


Julia came to spend a week with us. We are going out and having tons of fun together + taking pictures. Ethan loves having her around! us too!! She is such great kid...they play a lot together and I don't even have to mention that he absolutely adores the attention , do I?! We took her to see The Strip, and we visited the M&M world, Coca-Cola World, a few hotels and she loved them all...she was so happy!! fim de semana/weekend

Esse fim de semana resolvemos que iriamos sair de casa um pouco, mesmo com todo o calor que estava fazendo la fora. No sabado visitamos os hoteis Luxor e Mandalay. Achamos incriveis! Muito lindos mesmo...A arquitetura e maravilhosa e eles prestam atencao aos MINIMOS detalhes. No domingo, tomamos cafe com um amigo do John (Blake, da Australia) que esta de mudanca p/ San Francisco. De la fomos visitar o famoso parque nacional Red Rock. vc pode ver mais no site http://www.redrockcanyon.blm.gov .Do jeito que eu amo montanhas...estava feita ali! Que lugar espetacular!!! This past weekend we decided to get out of the house for a bit...even with all this heat! On Saturday we visited the Luxor and Mandalay hotels. They are beautiful...amazing architecture! On sunday, we had breakfast with John's friend, Blake(from Australia), he is moving to San Francisco.
